After departure, we fly east across vast cattle country to Fitzroy Crossing. Here we join a boat cruise on the mighty Fitzroy River through Geikie Gorge. The rock formations and colours of this ancient reef system are simply awe-inspiring, with fresh water crocodiles often making an appearance for keen photographers!
After Fitzroy Crossing, we fly to Windjana Gorge formed by the Lennard River cutting through a 350 million year old Devonian period reef. Overflying the full 3.5 km length of Windjana Gorge, our next stop is at Mt. Hart Wilderness Lodge for lunch**.
After Mt. Hart, the next major attraction is the Horizontal Waterfalls (see Buccaneer Explorer KL1 for the remainder of this itinerary). The tour returns to Broome at approximately 5.30pm.
