MITCHELL FALLS EXPLORER (KL8)

"Takes full advantage of the ability to fly to the remote and spectacular Prince Regent Nature Reserve and the stunning Mitchell Falls."
Available all year round, but best enjoyed in the Wet Season (Jan-Apr). Departing from Broome, with stops at Derby for a town tour (Wet Season) or Mt Hart (Dry Season) where we enjoy refreshments.
We then head north past Walcott Inlet and the Harding Range to Kings Cascade waterfalls situated on the beautiful Prince Regent River. Then onto the remote Mitchell Plateau for a light lunch and comfort stop*.
After lunch we take-off and head to the spectacular Mitchell Falls. We pass over the falls in both directions for ample photo opportunity before heading south to the Hunter River.
From here we continue onto Kuri Bay, home of the largest pearl farms in the southern hemisphere. Then across Collier Bay and Montgomery Reef, which are breeding grounds for humpback whales, often seen on the tour during the cooler months.
Onto the Horizontal (Falls) Waterfalls as described in the KL1 Buccaneer Explorer including a stopover at Cape Leveque for afternoon tea and a swim. We return to Broome at 5.00-5.30 pm.
